Fantasy

My pick: Dreamland by Olivie Blake

  • Release date: August 11
  • Synopsis: Anya Morris, stuck at home and desperate for her acting career to take off, receives a once-in-a-lifetime invitation to work for the de Witt family, one of LA's most influential film dynasties. Soon immersed in their strange Hollywood Hills villa, she meets Jude, the family's most closely guarded secret, as a string of murders dubbed the "summer of exsanguination" grips the city.

Olivie Blake’s books have been really hit or miss for me. I loved Alone With You in the Ether but hated One For My Enemy and Atlas Six. I’m still really excited about all her releases for some reason.
